The Franklin Girls Softball Association is a not-for-profit association organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
The specific purpose of the FGSA is to provide softball opportunities for the girls of the community by establishing 1) a recreational girls fastpitch softball league and game schedule, 2) recreational girls fastpitch softball teams to compete locally with other towns or regions, and 3) girls fastpitch softball teams for state, regional, and national competition.
An additional objective of the FGSA is to impart to the girls of the community the ideals of good sportsmanship, team play, honesty, loyalty, courage, and respect for others. The Association will provide an environment that will also remain sensitive to the physical and emotional well-being of the girls.
